Graham's Eagle Project (Part One)

Well, Troop 466 was once again involved in another Eagle Project.  This time, we were assisting Graham H. at the Audubon Society on Jones Mill Road.   A number of locals are aware of where it is.  In fact, many weddings are held there, but that is besides the point.

The project was to replace a couple of the broken/damaged boards, and to reset the hinges on the panels.  However, the damage was more than expected and so, the scope of the project seemed to increase.

Here are some photos from this day.

Preparing for the Parish Picnic (Part 1)

For the 125th Anniversary of St. John's Parish and the Parish Picnic, the Troop agreed to put up a rope bridge.  Now, we haven't put one up in over 10 years, but we agreed to it.  And so, on a Saturday morning, we decided that we need to do a dry run.  Here are some photos from that event.

Now, how do you you cook this thing?
Is it right over left or left over right?  I am so confused.

If we build it, will they come?

Well, I don't know.  I think we should ask the Scoutmaster.
