A couple of our Scouts attended Scout Day at the National Medical Museum in Silver Spring MD. They not only had a great time but learned quite a bit.
Well, it seems that at the last meeting, the Scouts decided to play cricket.
I can say that this is the first time in my almost 20 years with the troop that the Scouts played cricket.
Scout Troop 466 will once again sell trees this December in the Church parking lot. After vendor issues, the pandemic, and fewer growers, we were able to find a new supplier.
This year, we will be selling a hybrid Fraser/Balsam tree. This will be a new product for us and we believe that this will be a wonderful addition to your Christmas tradition.
The bulk of the trees will be in the 6' to 7' range. However, we will have a smaller number in the 5' to 6' and 7' to 8' range.
Our plan is to open up sales on Saturday, December 2nd.
For the exact sale schedule, please look for a future announcement in the bulletin and here.
At our opening meeting, we were visited by Cheryl Beauregard, President of the Thomas Stone Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
