Court of Honor

On the 20^th of May 2013, BSA Troop 466 celebrated our semi-annual Court of Honor.  During this event people are awarded for their achievements in Boy Scouts. Several of these Scouts achieved merit badges, higher scout ranks and badges for their good deeds to the community.  This event happened on a Monday at 7 p.m. sharp.

One of the biggest talks was current Scoutmaster Joseph Barone stepping down.  The new Scoutmaster is Mr. Tom Rogers.

This year’s court of honor got a spectacular attendance and we are excited about next year!   Also, congrats to Mr. John Walsh who just got married!

Once again congratulations to all Scouts earning merit badges and higher ranks in scouting.

A Changing of the Guard

Greetings:

We are sorry that we have not published for a while, but we have transitioned to a new Scoutmaster, the Scouts have gone to Goshen (both as a troop and as provisional), and two members of the troop (one adult and one Scout) went to the National Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.  It has been a pretty busy time for all involved.

However, we wanted to share with you some photos from the May 2013 Court of Honor.  At this event, Mr. Barone stepped down as Scoutmaster (2010-2013) and Mr. Rogers took over.  Mr. Rogers was presented with the official symbol of office: The Troop Scoutmaster Staff.
