Taken from the Washington Post:
Charles A. Clements III, 77, owner of Clements Landscape in Silver Spring, Md., for 57 years, died Nov. 22 at his home in Silver Spring. He had Parkinson’s disease, said a daughter, Jennifer Hall.
Mr. Clements was born in Washington and raised in Silver Spring. He operated Clements Landscape from 1957 until he retired and closed the shop in March. His memberships included the Professional Grounds Management Society’s D.C. branch.

It should be noted that Mr. Clements’ sons were members of the our Scout Troop and he was one of the founders (if not the founder) of the Christmas Tree Sale.
Our condolences go out to the family of Mr. Clements.
As one of our Scout Leaders would say: May the Great Scoutmaster of all Scout be with us until we meet again.
