Scout Sunday 2016: Corporal Works of Mercy

This past Scout Sunday, two members of Troop 466 were recognized for their completion of the Corporal Works of Mercy Achievement from the National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS). Life Scout Christopher B. and Asst. Scoutmaster Joseph B. earned the award and are actually the first in the Troop to earn it.

This award can easily be earned by the Scouts who attend Catholic high school, as there is a very large component in serving/assisting at food kitchens/drives, etc. However, any Catholic can earn it.

This year, Scout Sunday was celebrated on March 6, 2016 due to conflicting parish activities. Nevertheless, approximately 20 Boy Scouts and Adult Leaders participated. Here are a couple of photos from the day.
