Here are some additional photos from Luke's Eagle Project. Here we see two of the Scouts installing the castors at the bottom of the frames. The frames were probably 30lbs pounds, the wheels were rated for 100lbs.
After getting his Eagle Scout Project approved by the Potomac District Eagle Board Chair, work was undertaken on Sunday, June 4th.
The project was to build three mobile backdrops for the St. John School Auditorium Stage. Two would be just backdrops and the third would have a door. This could be used for plays and productions. It should be noted that the door could also act as a backdrop.
So, here are some photos from the construction. In these photos, they are cutting the 2x4s for the backdrop frames.
