BTOW 14: What I ate after I came off the trail...
Well, most of the troop has come off of a five day (four night) hike. Some have come off a bit early, others are still out. Nevertheless, you can tell that it was pretty strenuous and that the food was probably not only not enough but also not quite tasty.
Here is what one Scout wrote to his dad, after coming off of the Dosewallips River Trail:
Driving back to base camp stopped at Sully's Burgers in Forks, Washington. My order: a double bacon cheeseburger, large fry, large mt. Dew, larger Oreo peanut butter milkshake. Ate all of that and went back to order mozzarella sticks, and another bacon cheeseburger."
