On Saturday, April 19th over 25 Scouts, Leaders, school classmates and family worked Joseph H’s Eagle Scout project. The project, in Little Bennett Campground near the Browning Run Parking Area, was to plant 70 trees and then wrap them in deer fencing. The holes were dug by the county but the trees and mulch had to be moved by hand or wheel barrel at least 250 to 300 feet. In addition, about 100 trees received mulch. So, there were two changes to the project: no deep fencing and the mulching of an additional 100 trees. The work was completed in record time, with arrival at 9am for most of us and by 1pm, we shut everything down.
