The official blog of Troop 466 (Potomac District, National Capital Area Council)
On Saturday, May 14th, Pack 23 (sponsored by St. Michael's Catholic Church in downtown Silver Spring) held their Blue and Gold. Three members of the pack bridged over to our troop.
Thanks to SM Rogers and three Scouts for assisting with the ceremony. Thanks to ASM Barone for the photos.
Before the internet and emails, news at the Council and District levels were sent out as newsletters via snail mail (aka US Postal Service).
The NCAC Scouter Weekly Digest (March 27, 1967) highlights the REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR at the State House. Patrick O'Connell made the formal Council Report to Governor Agnew on Feb. 13th. Afterwards, the group toured the Naval Academy at Annapolois.
