The Year: 1969

At the time of registration, only 51 young men were registered as Scouts. There were no Eagles listed in the records, but there were two Life Scouts: Timothy Corcoran and John Symborski.

It was also the year that the Troop went to Goshen -- Camp Bowman.

Our Scoutmaster at that time was Gilbert Cole.

Apx. 350 "sprayed Scotch Pines" were purchased from Barony Tree Farms. In fact, the Troop had to pay Maryland State taxes on the sales ($45.98) but also had to purchase a retail license from Montgomery County.
