Scouting Expo 1966

For many years, Boy Scout Councils held Scouting Expos. It was a chance for the general public to see what Scouting was all about. They were held at Fairgrounds, Convention Centers, outdoor malls, etc.

In 1966, the National Capital Area Council (NCAC) held its' Scouting Expo at the National Guard Armory on 2001 E. Capital St.

Troop 466 had two booths and did a camping and cooking demo.

If you were a part of this, can you tell us a bit more about this event? We would love to hear from you.
